Healthy and Free Tennessee hosted our 3rd annual statewide convening on October 5, 2019 in Nashville, TN at Tennessee State University. Our statewide convening is a gathering for progressives that centers reproductive freedom and movement building in Tennessee. 

This year, we dug deeper into the systemic racism within our movement. The theme was "Reproductive Freedom: What's Race Got to Do With It?" and topics included eugenics, history of reproductive oppression and resistance in the U.S. South, tracking the White supremacist anti-choice agenda, and anti-oppression tools for organizations, among others.
