States of Matter features sculpture created by women. The work included recalls the five changing states of matter and speaks to the malleability and hybridity of the female form. Curated by Karen Seapker and Vadis Turner. Featuring artists: Amy Brener, Kristen Jensen, Ellie Krakow, Shari Mendelson, Allison Schulnik, Lava Thomas, Vadis Turner, Patrice Renee Washington, Saya Woolfalk.

This event will be a gathering/mixer to bring Nashvillians together, especially those from the activist and artist communities, to learn more about the missions of local gender and social justice organizations, their work, and how to get involved and support.
