Welcome, Elena Ferguson!

We are so very excited to have Elena joining us as an If/When/How RJ Policy Fellow for the 2020-2021 fellowship year!

Elena is a Nashville native and recently earned her J.D. from Belmont University College of Law. In law school, she served as the Black Law Students Association’s Information Officer and volunteered with the Tennessee Youth Court program. Throughout her law school career, she served as a legal intern with the Nashville Public Defenders Office, Juvenile Court of Nashville, and Law for Black Lives. The reproductive justice issue that she is most passionate about is menstrual equity. Elena earned her B.A. in Sociology with an African-American Studies Concentration from the College of the Holy Cross in 2017. Contact: [email protected].
