Co-State Director Position--Apply Today


Applications received before December 23rd receive top priority but applications will be accepted until position is filled. 

Alongside the current HFTN State Director, the Co-State Director will collaboratively lead and support Healthy and Free Tennessee, a statewide coalition working to promote sexual health and reproductive freedom in Tennessee. This co-leadership position will build the base of activists willing to take action on coalition issues, develop community leadership, build relationships with key local, state and national stakeholders, partners, and elected officials, advance engagement strategies, and assist in campaign development and implementation. Both Co-State Directors will report to the Chairperson of the HFTN Steering Committee.

2016 Youth Leadership Council


Healthy and Free Tennessee in partnership with the 1 in 3 Campaign is excited to announce our first ever statewide youth leadership council. The council is made from eight awesome young people between the ages of 18-24 who will share about and engage in efforts to de-stigmatize abortion and reproductive/sexual life

I am Armonte Butler, an International & Global Studies and Women & Gender Studies double-major originally from Washington, DC though I attend Sewanee: The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. I am most excited to learn more about  laws and policies in Tennessee and how they impact reproductive justice and bodily autonomy.
