Advocates and abortion providers from across the state along with national partners, National Abortion Federation (NAF) and Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), are collecting the stories of people seeking abortions in Tennessee. The Barriers to Abortion Care Project is an organized effort to demonstrate in legal terms that Tennessee's abortion restrictions are unfair and intentional obstacles placed in front of people trying to practice their constitutional rights. 

We're inspired by a similar story collecting effort in Florida and the brilliant victory of Texans in Supreme Court case Whole Woman's Health v Hellerstedt. If you'd like to learn more about the project, get involved, and/or share your own story please contact us at [email protected]
